Mobile Responsiveness and Google

Coming off the back of the last post’s introduction to how valuable it can be to ensure that your website is mobile responsive, this time we’re delving a little deeper into the benefits of mobile responsiveness.

It’s long been a common cry of the online marketer to say “if you’re not showing up on Google, your website’s dead in the water!”  Google does indeed hold the dominant share of the search engine market, and industry experts are confirming that in the near future, websites that fail to display properly on tablets and smartphones will actually be penalised on their search listings!  Even paid listings will take a hit in the form of a reduced display preference, meaning your ads won’t even show up on the device if your website doesn’t load properly on it.
